At the Zoo with AJ
Edgar invited one of his pre-school friends to the zoo last week. They really wanted to see the flying monkey Edgar had seen on TV. No monkeys were flying when we were there, but Edgar and AJ had a great old time anyway.

Thursdays With Maya
We met up with Edgar's old friend and classmate Maya at the park today in the first of a regular Thursday series. Goofiness prevailed. Carlos will be joining starting next week, too!

The Boys
Perhaps the other number -- You Are My Sunshine -- got a little overlooked, but check out these costumes and tell us the Blues Brothers' Soul Man wouldn't have brought the house down.
By the way, that's the boys' teacher, Aleutian, in the photo on the right. (As you probably know, Edgar's the kid on the left side in all the pictures).
All in a Day's Work
We think Edgar experienced performance day like this:
- Play, play, play in the Green Room (games, friends, videos)
- Take a couple of inconvenient breaks to go up and perform for hundreds of people
- Play, play, play in the Green Room
Happy Birthday Grammy!
Not only was today Grammy's birthday, but it was the big day (finally!) for Edgar's ballet and tap dance recital -- along with the whole dance school.
Luckily we got to experience both -- with Grammy and Aunt Cathy being able to attend the afternoon performance.
Here's Edgar just after the show. He's still in his Blues Brothers costume, with the exception of his hat (worn by Grammy).

Model Train Museum
A day of rain begged for getting out, but being in. So we headed to the Twin Cities Model Railroad Museum at Bandana Square in St Paul. The weather's always nice and sunny in the shrunk-down, hyperreal worlds created by train enthusiasts. They'll talk your ear off, but it's worth it.
